Daniel graduated from Arvin High School in 1972 and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo in 1977. Thereafter, Daniel attended UCLA Law School where he graduated in 1980 and moved to Bakersfield, California where he started practicing law in that same year.

Daniel has gone on to have a distinguished and successful legal career. He has obtained more multi-million dollar personal injury verdicts than any other attorney in the Southern San Joaquin Valley. He's won the highest verdict ever against the Los Angeles Police Department for a civil rights case involving a fleeing felon; he was the first attorney in the country to take to trial a witness protection case; he was the first attorney to take to trial a products liability case against a particular auto manufacturer of an SUV involved in a rollover accident.

Daniel has received numerous awards recognizing his success in Kern County. For instance, even though he is based in Bakersfield he has been nominated for "Trial Lawyer" of the year in Los Angeles; he received the first Presidential Award for trial lawyer success from the state-wide trial lawyer association, Consumer Attorneys of
California. Daniel is frequently asked to give lectures and presentations to attorneys on the art of persuasion as well as courtroom tactics and presentation. In short, Daniel is considered one of the best trial lawyers in the state.

Daniel attributes his success not only to hard work, but more importantly to his family. "Despite the fact that my parents had no formal education; they taught their kids that every dream is achievable through hard work and a good education. And, they were right!"
